What is Consignment?
A consignment occurs when you bring clothing or other items to us for a period of time to sell on your behalf. At Classy Way Consignment Boutique the consignment period is 60 days. For items that sell, you will receive 40% of the selling price (50% for items which sell at $75 or more). You may collect money due you at any time... you don't have to wait until the end of the consignment period.
Who sets prices?
Classy Way sets sales prices... based on years of experience and product knowledge, we understand what people are willing to pay for quality recycled clothing and accessories. If you have concerns about the price we might set for a particular item, let us know at time of consignment.
What items can I consign?
Classy Way is committed to maintaining a reputation for high quality merchandise that will develop a customer base of buyers who will return time and time again. For that reason we are particular about the items we accept. We take name brand clothing and accessories found in major department stores. Please refer to our Consignment Guidelines page on this web site for additional information.
When are consignments accepted?
Classy Way accepts consignments six days a week - no appointment is required. Consignment hours are:
Monday thru Friday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
How will I know when items have sold?
Class Way credits your account at time of sale. You may call, email or stop by any time for an update.
What happens to unsold merchandise?
Classy Way donates unsold merchandise to local charities unless you inform us of your intent to retrieve those items. To schedule a pick-up, you must contact us prior to the consignment expiration date. Tax receipts for donated items will be provided on request.
