Consignment Guidelines
Thank you for choosing Classy Way Consignment Boutique as your consignment partner. You are joining an ever-growing list of women who have decided they want to be part of an exciting, professionally run women's business. We will work hard to earn and maintain your trust and your loyalty!
Consignment Hours:
- Monday thru Friday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
(No appointment required)
Items Accepted:
- Quality women's and plus size clothing
- Special Occasion Wear
- Maternity Wear
- Accessories such as belts, scarves, handbags, etc
- Shoes
How to Prepare:
We accept up to ten (10) items per consignor every two weeks. Carefully review your items in advance to ensure they are of a current style, in season, pressed and free of stains or tears. Items must be on hangers, which will be returned upon request.
Remember - the better your items look, the better they sell! Buyers want clothing that looks new.
When You Arrive:
If you have not consigned with us before, we recommend you complete the Consignment Agreement beforehand and bring it with you (see attachment below). If you prefer, you can review/sign the agreement during your first visit.
When you bring your items in, we will inspect to ensure they are in season and meet standards of quality and condition to maintain our reputation as a premier women's "boutique".
Once your items have been accepted, we will give you a receipt indicating the date of consignment, number of items consigned and your consignment end date.
Pricing:
We set selling prices based on quality and condition of the items consigned, plus current demand and retail pricing for like items. If you have pricing concerns, please discuss these with us BEFORE you leave. Your items will be entered into our computerized database, tagged and placed on the sales floor within 48 hours. An itemized printed inventory will be made available on request.
Consignment Period:
Your items will remain on the floor for 60 days, with periodic price reductions. We work hard to professionally showcase your items during the consignment period to get the best price for you.
Payment:
You will receive 40% of the final selling price (50% for items sold for $75 or more). You may stop by any time to check the status of your account and collect monies owed to you... no need to wait until the consignment period ends.
Clothing Seasons:
Spring: Late Jan - April
Summer: April - July
Fall: Late July - Sep
Winter: Oct - Dec
